Workshop Console — Industrial Control Panel for Home Assistant

The dashboard from my print room, packaged so you can build your own. Paper-grey panels, hard black rules, one orange accent, amber LCD read-outs, rotary knobs you actually turn and keys that click. It looks like a piece of 1970s lab equipment and runs on the tablet on your wall.

What it does

• Shows and controls whatever your Home Assistant already has: lights, shades, heating, air quality, media, vacuum, 3D printers, scenes, a shopping list, graphs.
• You build the layout yourself, in the browser. Tap EDIT, drag in a block (lights, climate, graph, printer…) or a single part (a knob, a fader, a key, a lamp, a number), resize it, rename it, then tap CONNECT and pick your entity from a search box. No YAML, no card configuration.
• Any number of tabs, any number of columns, column widths you drag.
• Export the layout as a file and drop it on every screen in the house.
• Scales to any screen; built for a 1280 × 800 wall tablet.

What you get

A zip with one folder of plain static files (HTML/CSS/JS), a README that is the manual, and a licence. Version 1.0.0. No account, no cloud, no telemetry — it talks to your own Home Assistant over its WebSocket API and nothing leaves your network.

What you need (please read before buying)

• A running Home Assistant installation. This is not an HA add-on, not a HACS package and does not work without Home Assistant.
• A way to copy a folder into HA's config/www/ directory (the Samba share or File editor app under Settings → Apps — "Add-ons" in older versions — SSH, or the folder itself on Container/Core installs).
• A long-lived access token from your HA profile (two clicks, the README shows where).
• Comfortable with the basics of HA: you know what an entity is and can find yours by name.
• Internet on the screen for two Google Fonts (works without, in fallback type).

Not included

Your devices, integrations and automations — the console displays what HA already knows about. It does not add support for any printer, light or sensor. Brand names in the demo are examples.

Support and refunds

This is a one-person shop. The README covers installation and every module; if something is genuinely broken, email info@theswedishmaker.com with your browser, HA version and a screenshot and I'll look when I can — no promised response time. Because it is a digital file, there are no refunds once downloaded; that is why the demo is free to try first.

Licence

Use it on as many of your own screens as you like, change anything, film it. Don't resell, share or re-upload the files. Full text in the package.
